The fifth chapter of Punks Not Dead: London Calling closes in on a striking tableau: a young punk figure blazes with electric-blue energy while wielding a guitar overhead, looming above a composed, white-suited man seated in a chair with glowing horns of light — an image that hums with tension between raw rebellion and something far more unsettling. Martin Simmonds's cover work is all vivid oranges, purples, and neon against a leopard-print border, giving the whole thing a visual charge that feels perfectly calibrated to the series' collision of punk attitude and supernatural unease. If this arc's aesthetic has been building to something, issue five of this Black Crown/IDW series looks every bit the part.
