This Panini Comics intégrale brings together Mike Baron's 1988–1989 run on The Punisher in one handsome French-language volume, with cover art penciled by Whilce Portacio and inked by Scott Williams. The cover charges forward with Frank Castle in full skull regalia — gun raised, teeth bared, tangled in green wire or cable — flanked by two armed allies, a man in yellow wielding a multi-barreled weapon and a woman in olive gear carrying a rifle, all three surging at the viewer with real intensity. It's a terrific showcase of Portacio's kinetic, muscle-forward style that defined some of the Punisher's most energetic late-'80s storytelling.
