“In the Beginning Conclusion”

The cover by Tim Bradstreet says it all: Frank Castle, dual pistols in hand, stands with his back to us as a semicircle of armed men closes in around him in a dimly lit corridor — outnumbered and unflinching. It's a masterfully composed image of one man against many, rendered with the gritty, photorealistic atmosphere that defined the Punisher MAX line in 2004. Garth Ennis, Lewis LaRosa, and Tom Palmer bring "In the Beginning" to its conclusion here, and that cover alone makes a compelling case for picking this one up.
