Pulse #7

Ratana Satis delivers another beautifully rendered volume of Pulse with this seventh installment, its cover framing two women in an achingly tender near-kiss amid a soft cascade of pink cosmos blossoms. One figure, dressed in a white suit with a bold red tie and holding a champagne glass, leans close to her golden-haired companion in an elegant pale pink gown with a gold sash — the floral Art Nouveau border and warm blush palette giving the whole image a dreamy, romantic glow. If you've been following this series, volume 7 looks every bit as emotionally rich as the chapters that came before it.
