Prowler #3

Part of Marvel's 2017 Clone Conspiracy crossover, this third issue puts the Prowler front and center — literally crashing through a doorway in his distinctive purple-and-green suit, wrist-gadgets at the ready, while a crackling, lightning-wreathed figure looms menacingly in the background. The cover by Travel Foreman conveys a real sense of physical urgency, with debris scattering and sparks flying as these two costumed figures collide in a gritty stone corridor. Sean Ryan, Javier Saltares, and Jamal Campbell keep this street-level hero's solo series charged with tension that fits right into one of Spider-Man's most unsettling storylines.
