The third chapter of Promise arrives with this quietly unsettling cover from the creative team of Thierry Lamy and Mikäel — a lone young woman in a heavy coat and wide-brimmed hat leads a horse through a rain-soaked, fog-shrouded mountain valley, bare trees looming on either side. The muted, earthy tones and brooding atmosphere of Mikäel's artwork perfectly set the tone for a story subtitled Incubus, hinting at something dark pressing in on this solitary traveler. Published by Glénat in 2015, this installment looks to deepen the series' blend of wilderness tension and something altogether more ominous.
