Part of Dark Horse's sweeping "Fire and Stone" crossover event, this second issue of the four-part Prometheus series is written by Paul Tobin with art by Juan Ferreyra. David Palumbo's painted cover sets an immediately unsettling tone: a tall, pale humanoid figure — its skeletal chest partially exposed — emerges from a cascading waterfall amid dense alien vegetation, while in the foreground lies a shattered space helmet with a skull visible inside. The contrast between that luminous, otherworldly figure and the grim wreckage at its feet says everything about the dangerous terrain this series is exploring.
