In "La ciudad radiante y celestial," Sophie tries to interview Barbara Shelley about Promethea, only to be attacked by a Smee—just as Promethea intervenes, briefly shielding her before returning to Barbara’s form. With time running out, Barbara urges Sophie to imagine herself as Promethea, or both will die. As Sophie writes a poem, she becomes the new Promethea, stepping into the role just in time to face the threat. Meanwhile, in ancient Alexandria, a young girl is chosen as the first to wear the mantle.

In "El juicio de Salomón," Promethea faces a deadly test when the temple that once sent the Smee hires Benny Solomon to kill her, summoning the demons Marchosias and Andras to carry out the strike. Though she defeats them in the surreal realm of Limp’s concert, the victory comes at a cost—Stacia is drawn into the Immateria with the fallen spirits.

In "Un romance de hadas," Jo and Stacia head to the library to uncover the truth behind Promethea, diving into the mysterious tale of Anna Charlton Sennet. When Jack Fausto arrives to speak with Sophie, the threads of legend begin to weave into something far more personal.

In "Tierra de nadie," Margaret navigates the echoes of war and memory as she revisits the legacy of Promethea during the First World War, finding unexpected connection in a hospital visit with Barbara. Through this journey, she begins to uncover the deeper path of Promethea within Immateria, guided by myth and mystery.

In "Los 5 Tipos Estupendos en ¡Tiroteo en la 5ª Avenida! (versión 'último recuerdo de Marv')", Sophie discovers the path of the sword during a journey to Hy Brasil, aiding Promethea—known here as Grace—in confronting Marto Neptura, while Benny Solomon arrives in New York carrying the Goetia.

In "Espadas y paredes," Sophie begins to grasp the path of the pentacle as Promethea [Bill] warns her of the dangers in drawing too close to the material world. Meanwhile, Mayor Baskerville and Benny Solomon arrive at the hospital, and Muñeco unleashes a plush bomb into the crowd.

In "Ellos y Ellas," Jo finds herself caught in a deadly game when Benny Solomon sends Goetia to eliminate Sophie—only for Sophie to summon Promethea (Grace), Promethea (Margaret), Promethea (Bill), and even become Promethea herself. As the group separates from the Goetia, the threat shifts to the enigmatic alcalde Baskerville, who now holds the power after the Painted Doll kills Benny Solomon.

In "¡Derrumbando el Templo!", Promethea investigates a mysterious temple only to find it built from the lives of three elderly people and the children waiting to join them. When Sophie asks Jack Fausto to teach her magic, she agrees to his unusual condition—sex with Promethea—setting off a tense, intimate encounter that blurs the line between power, desire, and ritual.

In "Pseunami," as the millennium shift sends Elastagel into chaotic frenzy, Promethea and the Five Amazing Types race to shield New York’s citizens from the rising chaos. Later, amid the storm, Promethea discovers the surprising names of the serpents coiled at her side—Mike and Mack—uncovering a quiet mystery woven into the mythic symbols she carries.
