Prométhée #10
The second and final part of "Dans les ténèbres" arrives with a cover that pulls no punches: a lone figure stands small against a devastated urban canyon, skyscrapers crumbling on either side while a blinding, fiery explosion erupts at the far end of the street, bathing everything in hellish orange light. Christophe Bec handles the full visual package here — art, inks, and colors — and that total creative control lends the image a remarkably unified, apocalyptic atmosphere. Fans of Prométhée's brand of grand-scale science fiction dread will find this 2014 Soleil release a satisfying conclusion to the two-part arc.
