In the scorching sands of the Egyptian desert, the X-Men face off against the ancient Living Pharaoh, who abducts Alex and drains his mutant energy to become the Living Monolith. As the Monolith rises, a desperate battle erupts—until Alex, reclaiming his power and more, turns the tide and shatters the temple that held the Pharaoh's curse. Now overwhelmed by forces he can't control, Alex warns his teammates to stay back, his fate uncertain.

In "Vogterne lever!", the X-Men are thrown into chaos when Lorna is attacked by a Sentinel, forcing Iceman and Beast to return to the States after catching a shocking newscast: the son of Bolivar Trask has declared the Sentinels active once more. Meanwhile, Alex struggles with his escalating powers, and the Living Pharaoh demands the X-Men be arrested for destroying an ancient temple—just as a new wave of Sentinel attacks begins.

In "Mission: Mord!", the Sentinels launch a brutal assault on Beast and Iceman, forcing Bobby to make a desperate sacrifice so Hank can escape. As Angel flies back to the States with Cyclops and Jean in pursuit, Iceman is captured and brought to Trask’s Sentinel base, where he reunites with Lorna and a newly transformed Alex—now known as Havok, his powers contained by a suit designed by Trask. With mutants from across the globe gathered at the base, Trask’s control begins to unravel when Chalmers, uneasy with his methods, removes the medallion that once bound the Sentinels to him—only to reveal that Trask himself is a mutant.

In "Her og nu skat," the mutant community faces a grim turning point when Larry Trask’s true nature as a mutant is exposed, causing the Sentinels to turn on him—now hunting all mutants without mercy. With Cyclops, Jean, and Beast racing to save their captured allies, they don the identities of Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Toad in a daring infiltration. As the team fights through the Sentinels’ relentless advance, a desperate plan unfolds that could turn the tide—but at what cost?

In "I Saurons skygge!", the X-Men bring an injured Havok to Dr. Karl Lykos, a former friend of Xavier—only to discover Lykos has transformed into the malevolent Sauron, feeding on mutant energy. When Angel sets out to track down the mysterious flying dinosaur, he falls under Sauron’s hypnotic spell, leaving the team vulnerable to a threat that’s both monstrous and all too human.

In "Uhyrer græder også!", the X-Men face off against Sauron, only to lose him in the chaos—unaware that the flying dinosaur is linked to Dr. Karl Lykos. When they visit Lykos, they find Alex restored and witness a tender reunion between Karl and his beloved Tanya, until her father arrives to forbid their love. As the X-Men quietly retreat, Lykos drains Lorna’s energy and transforms once more into Sauron, then later confronts Tanya at their mountain cabin, fleeing in fear after his transformation.

In "Fremmed i et vildt land!", Angel stumbles into the Savage Land while hunting Sauron, only to be ambushed by flying dinosaurs. Rescued by a mysterious figure who calls himself a protector of the land, he’s healed by Magneto—though Angel doesn’t recognize him. When the rest of the X-Men arrive and join forces with Ka-Zar, the truth behind the enigmatic stranger begins to unfold.
