Project Superpowers: Chapter Three #0

At a dime a copy, this introductory issue from Dynamite is about as welcoming an entry point as you could ask for into Rob Williams and Sergio Dávila's 2018 revival of the Project Superpowers universe. Francesco Mattina's cover pulls three figures out of the shadows with striking intensity: a blue-and-red masked hero lunging forward with bladed weapons, a caped figure behind him bearing a glowing skull-and-crossbones emblem, and a gun-toting woman in a wide-brimmed hat and red coat completing the trio. It's a confident, atmospheric image that sets a serious tone for whatever this assembled team is about to face.
