# Prize Comics Western #77 The issue presents an anthology of Western stories. In "Streets of Laredo," a Texas ranger named Jim confronts an outlaw named Lorn who has been resigning from the Rangers and planning to rob the Laredo Bank with stolen money; after a tense confrontation where Jim warns Lorn not to return, Lorn is shot dead in a final showdown on the streets of Laredo. A second story features Johnny and Dusty dealing with Ben Thompson, a man they trusted who has betrayed them; Johnny vows to settle the matter himself, leading to conflict involving an ambush on a train and a battle with Native American warriors, culminating in the Sioux attacking a wagon train that the pioneers must defend.
