Prize Comics #39

Prize Comics #39 is an anthology containing at least two stories: a wartime tale involving Yank and Doodle and the Black Owl pursuing Nazi agents who have stolen Russian food supplies intended for guerrilla fighters, with plans to divert the supplies to Nazi forces; and "Van Lunce's Story," in which a tall, broad-shouldered man claiming to be an astrologer in a costume appears mysteriously, hits the narrator with a dart that causes him to vanish, and later reappears as a mysterious shadow figure called "The Shadow of Death" at a theater, leading to further mysterious disappearances.
