# Synopsis A space adventurer recounts his harrowing escape from a ship bound for Pluto that was attacked by magnetic grapples and invaded by alien beings. After hiding and escaping via spacesuit, he encounters the renowned scientist Benton Thorpe, who was captured by the same aliens and taken aboard their vessel. The two discover the aliens possess advanced technology including ray-generators and diorama-like windows, and learn the aliens are planning an attack on a distant planet that was rediscovered after eons. Jet uses his superior knowledge of Earth-based physics to navigate the alien ship and attempts to find a way to stop the impending assault.
