Dynamite's 2024 run of The Powerpuff Girls continues with issue #2, "What Dreams May Come," and this Leonardo Romero cover wastes no time setting a wonderfully surreal mood. The composition splits into layered dream-like panels — Buttercup clashing with monstrous green creatures up top, a mysterious cloaked figure looming large in the center, and Blossom and Bubbles seated at a bizarre tea party presided over by a grinning, sharp-toothed villain in a polka-dot hat. It's a visually inventive cover that promises the Girls navigating some very strange territory indeed.
