About this Collection

This 1988 Marvel collection reprints the earliest appearances of the Power Pack, the team of super-powered siblings. It gathers the original limited series that introduced Alex, Julie, Jack, and Katie Power and their adventures after receiving powers from a dying alien. A compact origin album for fans of Marvel's youngest superhero team.

In "Power Play," a stranded alien named Whitey crash-lands near the Power family's home, his ship damaged by the malevolent Snarks. With Earth in danger and the children unknowingly on the brink of uncovering a technology that could bring disaster, Whitey grants them superpowers to protect both them and the planet. Written by Louise Simonson and illustrated by June Brigman, with inks by Bob Wiacek, colors by Glynis Wein, and letters by Joe Rosen, this issue features a cover by June Brigman and Bob Wiacek.
