Power Pack: Into the Storm #3

A massive, tentacled monster dominates this cover, its gaping maw full of jagged teeth while the four Power Pack kids scramble across its writhing limbs — one pinned beneath a grasping tentacle, others fighting back with fists and energy. Storm hovers alongside them, white hair flowing as she channels her weather powers against the beast, a burst of crackling light erupting between her and the creature. Louise Simonson and June Brigman (whose cover pencils, inked here by Roy Richardson, are wonderfully kinetic) bring a real sense of chaotic, all-hands-on-deck urgency to this 2024 miniseries. If you've been enjoying this run's blend of kid-hero heart and genuine peril, issue #3 looks like it's not letting up.
