Sometimes comics just put exactly what they promise right on the cover: Power Girl and Superman, fists raised, going airborne against a massive, roaring dinosaur whose jaws could swallow a city bus whole. The sheer scale of that thunder lizard — teeth shattering, eyes blazing — makes this a genuinely memorable image from Sami Basri, whose clean, dynamic linework gives both heroes a real sense of momentum and urgency. With Judd Winick kicking off "Up, Up & Away, Part One" in this May 2011 issue, the Kryptonian cousins look like they have their work cut out for them.
