“The Enforcers!”

In "The Enforcers!", SHIELD HQ is seized by the cunning Mentallo and the Fixer, who trap Nick Fury and set a deadly trap with a miniature H-Bomb strapped to his wrists. With Fury cut off from the ESP Division and Tony Stark stepping in to lead the defense, the team must rely on ingenuity and the Metronome Unit’s precision to counter the threat—before Mentallo’s powers overwhelm them all. Written by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, with dynamic art by Kirby and Howard Purcell, and a striking cover by Kirby and Mike Esposito, this 1967 issue delivers high-stakes tension and classic Marvel espionage.
