A murky, atmospheric cover in deep greens and blacks sets the mood for this 1999 release from Éditions Thierry Magnier, part of the Collection Tête de Lard series. A small, bright green creature peers out wide-eyed from the lower left, dwarfed by the dark, looming shapes that fill the background — a wonderfully unsettling contrast of the tiny and the immense. Voutch's painterly style gives the whole thing a playfully ominous feel that makes you curious about just what that little figure is up against.
