Postal #14 from Image/Top Cow delivers the series' signature tension in a single striking image: a blonde woman in a diner uniform crouches low over a counter absolutely blanketed in firearms — pistols, shotgun shells, ammunition belts, and more — meeting the viewer's gaze with a calm, almost unsettling confidence. The contrast between her waitress attire and the arsenal spread before her says everything about the world this series inhabits. Bryan Hill, Isaac Goodhart, Matt Hawkins, and K. Michael Russell continue to make Postal one of 2016's most compelling crime comics.
