In "Phantom of the Plains," Porky Pig and Petunia Pig head to the Bar-Soap Ranch, owned by Petunia’s uncle, Baked Ham, only to be ambushed on the way by Sylvester—under the spell of a mysterious hypnotist known as Hypnotic Harry. When Sylvester breaks free and the Sheriff arrives, the criminal escapes, rebranding himself as "The Phantom" and kidnapping Uncle Baked Ham, leaving behind a cryptic note and a trail of clues.
