Popular Romance #20 is an anthology containing three stories. "I Want to Forget" follows a woman named Janis who ends a relationship with Jerry, believing she was too timid to make their love work, and attempts to start over by taking a job caring for children. However, she reconnects with Jerry at a train station and realizes her mistake, ultimately reconciling with him and deciding to marry. "Lips Without Love" depicts a woman named Lois who leaves her boyfriend Johnnie, only to encounter him again with his new secretary; after watching them together, Lois recognizes her own selfishness and reunites with Johnnie, who welcomes her back. "My Honeymoon Cottage" features a blonde woman skiing who meets Bill Dwight and eventually marries him after resolving her doubts about their relationship.
