Plop! #16
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDC's "Magazine of Weird Humor" is in fine form with this September 1975 entry, featuring a cover by Wally Wood that captures the publication's gloriously absurd spirit. Two rubbery, grotesquely exaggerated figures are locked in a chaotic tangle — one dangling upside-down, shoe flying loose — against a vivid pink background ringed with a dense parade of equally bizarre cartoon faces. It's a wonderfully unhinged invitation to the strange comedy waiting inside, including Steve Skeates's story "The Make-out Queen of Lord Byron High!" brought to life by Ric Estrada.
