The third volume of Pline arrives from Mari Yamazaki and Tori Miki in this beautifully rendered entry published by Casterman in 2017, subtitled Les Griffes de Poppée. The cover — rendered in striking monochrome linework reminiscent of antique engravings — depicts a massive kraken-like creature, its enormous tentacles coiling around and overwhelming a sailing vessel on churning, dramatic seas.
