DC's 1967 revival of "The Funtastic Plastic Man" hits its stride with this second issue, featuring a cover by Win Mortimer that captures the rubber-limbed hero's delightful absurdity in full swing. Plastic Man's wildly stretched arms and enormous fist loom over a green, spider-headed villain who shouts "Outa my way, cops! Nobody stops The Spider!" — all while a police officer looks on with gun drawn in the background. Inside, writer Arnold Drake promises not one but three origin stories in "The Three Faces of Plastic Man," each goofier than the last.
