Against a burning orange sky, Carlos Magno's cover for this 2012 Boom! Studios issue puts the tension front and center: a defiant human raises a blade and shouts up at an imposing, robed ape who looms large over the composition, while a crowd of armed apes surges forward in the background. It's a striking image of one small figure standing ground against overwhelming opposition, perfectly suited to the third chapter of "The Half Man" arc from writer Daryl Gregory and artist Carlos Magno.
