Planet Comics #69

Planet Comics #69 is an anthology featuring multiple science fiction stories. "The Mentalists of Mars" involves a confrontation on Mars where alien mentalists with brain-wave powers threaten to conquer space, but are thwarted when a character uses flaming oil as a weapon. "Gale and the Girl Squadron" follows Gale as she encounters a strange alien craft and a menacing creature while working with the Girl Squadron, using magnetic currents to escape danger. "Red Comet" with Flint Baker features Flint and his companion Mimi pursued by large vulture-like birds on an alien world; they battle the creatures and discover Dr. Worr has trained them as guards, leading to further conflict as the birds continue their assault.
