☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeHunt Veers pilots his cruiser over Manhattan and discovers the skeletal remains of the Brooklyn Bridge, then encounters a symbolic spire resembling the Statue of Liberty on Bedloes Island that lures the group's gaze. The spire intrigues them enough to bring the space ship down, where Hunt discovers a hidden door leading to a stairway and urges the others to join him, while Lyssa warns that a Volta patrol is coming to capture them. The group escapes through streaks of speed in the shivery cold, with Hunt and the others learning that the Voltas are a horrid cold-blooded race more monster than human who estivate during the warm months but are brought forth to raid and cause great distress. Hunt and his crew construct defenses to withstand their guns, then cast off their moorings to part company with the space patrol men, who aren't friends but whom Hunt vows to make sure no harm comes to, as the vengeance of the planeteer is doomed on Xeet.
