Planet Comics #40 is an anthology featuring multiple science fiction stories. "Mysta of the Moon" depicts Earthlings in a car being pursued by hostile forces, with the vehicle crashing and the survivors narrowly escaping an embankment. "Gale Allen," by Douglas McKee, follows space explorer Gale Allen and her crew as they investigate a ghostly terror encountered while working on endless experiments; their ship becomes wrecked in a strange way and drifts aimlessly through space, with Allen suspecting she was responsible for the incident.
