"Star Pirate" follows a space patrol officer who must stop an outlaw star pirate, with instructions to apprehend him at any cost. Another story involves Auro, who is strapped to a crude laboratory table by a malevolent figure and must break free from his bonds to stop a threatening machete-wielding assailant. A third story depicts Norse explorers and moon mountaineers traveling by ski across the terrain on Pluto, where they discover an abandoned Plutonian city and decide to investigate the desolate settlement despite its ominous history.
Auro, the lord of Jupiter, encounters a girl fleeing from an unseen horror—a deadly plague that causes victims to crumble upon contact. She reveals the Yasgadorians, swamp-dwelling creatures, have unleashed a sinister weapon they call a "de-energizing solution" to drain the life force from Jovians and fuel their bid for planetary conquest. Auro tracks the menace to the swamplands, only to fall into the hands of the Yasgadorian leader and his followers, who plan to strip him and the girl of their vitality in a makeshift laboratory.
