Pink Lemonade #4

Dec 2022 · Oni Press · 3.99 USD
“Fact or Fiction?”

In "Fact or Fiction?", Pink Lemonade continues her documentary quest with Bam Wammi, chasing rumors through the city’s hidden corners. When the crew heads to an abandoned amusement park on Ron’s insistence, they’re stunned to find Zavi Xarad filming a new movie—complete with two impostors, one a robot once resembling OJ-Bot, and the other a look-alike named Starla. As tensions rise and the robot attacks, Pink is caught in a sudden explosion, leaving her fate uncertain. Written and illustrated by Nick Cagnetti, with cover art by Nick Cagnetti, this 2022 issue from Oni Press blends mystery and suspense in a story that blurs the line between reality and performance.

Pink is filming her documentary with Bam Wammi around town, meeting up with various friends. Ron insists that they have to go to an old abandoned amusement park where he once filmed a movie. Skip and his dog Baldoin arrive just before Pink and her team discover that Zavi Xarad is at the park, filming his new movie with two fake Pink Lemonades: Starla and a robot that once looked like OJ-Bot and fought Ron. The robot attacks Pink and appears to destroy her in an explosion.
