A woman rushes to Chicago after news of a plane crash involving two men she knew. One was her fiance and the other was his brother, the man she loved. When she arrives, she learns there was only one male survivor of the crash who is identified as J. Brent, but she can't tell which brother it is due to the bandages on his face. While waiting for his recovery, she reminisces about how she came to know each man.
