Despite being a skeptic, Paul is persuaded by this date to visit a fortune-teller with her. The fortune-teller has an uncanny knowledge of Paul's life, but tells her his date is not the girl for her. Intrigued, he brings a new girl to the fortune-teller and this time, the fortune-teller scares the girl off from seeing Paul. Paul still thinks the fortune-teller is a phoney and waits around until the fun-fair closes to find out how Alexandra knows so much about him.
