“The Witch”

In "The Witch," Edward arrives in the secluded Spanish town of Gallia to take over his uncle’s medical practice, only to be drawn into the quiet life of Cynthia—a girl long shunned by the townspeople who whisper she’s cursed. With her father lost at sea and her mother dead at birth, Cynthia’s isolation deepens as the villagers blame her for misfortunes, calling her a witch despite her gentle nature. Anita Rodríguez Ruiz’s evocative art brings the town’s quiet tension and the emotional weight of Cynthia’s loneliness to life, capturing a story where first impressions and old fears shape a fragile connection.
