“Deceive No More”

In "Deceive No More," a screen-play writer recovering from a car accident in Mexico finds himself haunted by more than physical pain—his nurse, too, carries buried sorrows. As she becomes entangled in a manipulative movie publicity scheme, she faces a choice: let the past define her, or reclaim her truth. With delicate storytelling and expressive art by Carmen Levi, this poignant 1973 romance explores memory, healing, and the quiet courage it takes to stop pretending. The cover by Antonio Borrell captures the story’s emotional tension in bold, evocative lines.
