Pictorial Romances #4
In "I Changed My Life to Catch a Man!", Martha’s carefully planned path to self-improvement takes an unexpected turn when she finds herself drawn to Ralph—though his hesitation to ask her out stings, especially with her reputation as a "snob" and a "grind." A winter skiing trip with Professor Arnold becomes a test of feelings when Martha tries to stir jealousy, only to find herself in danger during a storm. With the help of Chuck Miller’s expressive art, this 1950 tale of longing and misdirected passion unfolds in a cabin, where truth and affection finally break through.
