Pterodactyl-like creatures drift through the background, lending the scene an otherworldly, dreamlike atmosphere that perfectly captures the surreal imagination Fred brought to this beloved Belgian series. This 2014 HUM! edition of Het Luchtkasteel is a wonderful invitation into one of Franco-Belgian comics' most charmingly strange universes.
