Tariqartha sends Wilderwitch and his deviant son Kronokronos Akbar to the Faerie Garden in hopes they will encounter and drive out the Apocalyptics, as well as any of their allies, who've nested there. Before they can do that, they're attacked by Vetala and her soldier, who are after the devil-slaying Trigreos Talisman. First Nihila then Ringleader also show up for the same reason. Once that's resolved the Witch and Akbar carry on. Demon Land erupts out of the ground. The Witch flees, forcing Akbar to fight the Thanatoid himself.
