"The Adventures of Peter Wheat" is the main story featured in this issue. Peter Wheat and his companions—his mother Terence the Termite and two butterfly friends—are caught in a giant spider's web. When the spider attacks, one of the butterflies frees Peter's sword, allowing him to escape. The group flees into an unfamiliar forest where they encounter friendly goblins and discover Goblin Town, mistaking the forest initially for somewhere dangerous before realizing the goblins are harmless and amusing.
