Peter Porkchops #30
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePeter Porkchops is up to his entrepreneurial best in this 1954 DC gem, running a hair tonic stand with a very unfortunate customer — Wolfie, who has clearly grabbed the wrong bottle and is now dealing with the hair-removing consequences. Otto Feuer's cover art captures the gag perfectly: a mortified, balding wolf clutching a yellow bottle while Peter coolly holds up the "Hair Removing Tonic" label and delivers the deadpan advice to read the small print next time. It's the kind of warm, witty humor that made "America's Favorite Pig" such a reliable delight at the ten-cent rack.
