Peter Panda's world gets a delightfully mechanical twist in this 1954 DC offering, as the cover — penciled and inked by Rube Grossman — drops our little panda cub into an encounter with a cheerful, boxy yellow robot holding a fishing rod. Peter scrambles along the ground clutching a butterfly net, connected by a wire to a small red gadget, suggesting a very eventful "Trip to Gadgetville!" is already well underway. It's a charming, playful scene from DC's golden age of funny-animal comics, priced at just a dime.
