Factory worker Rose has a crush on new foreman Ed and asks him on a date. However, after Ed and Rose have gone out for some time, he tells her that he is really interested in dating Rose’s shy fellow worker Grace. Rose is outraged and vows revenge. When Ed and Grace start dating, Rose tells Grace that Ed is a womanizer. Rose becomes engaged to Larry, Ed’s brother, but jilts him to hurt Ed, even though she really loves Larry. Rose admits she lied about Ed; Grace and Ed reconcile, but Rose has lost Larry forever. She leaves town, alone.
