Marge fears that she’ll be left to care for her mother alone if her brother Phil marries Peggy. Peggy says they won’t desert Phil’s mother, but Marge is distrustful. Marge feigns illness and Phil brings in his old friend Guy, a doctor. Marge and Guy fall in love, but she thinks he’s only pretending to care about her so that Phil can wed Peggy. Guy criticizes Marge for her selfishness. Marge apologises to Peggy and urges her to marry Phil. Guy forgives Marge.
