About this Collection

This manga adaptation of the hit video game follows the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a group of high school students who enter a supernatural realm called the Metaverse to steal the corrupt desires of adults. Volume 1 introduces protagonist Ren Amamiya as he arrives in Tokyo and awakens his Persona, setting the stage for the team's first heist.

"Chapter 1" of Persona 5 (2020) launches with a bold confrontation as Sakamoto publicly accuses Kamoshida of abuse—without proof—sparking disciplinary action against both him and Akira. The tension deepens when Ann Takamaki steps forward, her growing concern for her friend drawing her into Sakamoto’s struggle. Written by Hisato Murasaki and Adrienne Beck, with art by Murasaki and a striking cover by Murasaki, this issue sets the stage for a story rooted in defiance and uneasy alliances.
