In "Chapter 5" of Persona 5 (2020), Sakamoto stands before Kamoshida, publicly accusing him of abuse—without proof—triggering disciplinary consequences for both Kamoshida and Akira. Later, Ann Takamaki approaches Sakamoto, her concern for her friend’s suffering drawing her into his struggle.
In "Chapter 6" of Persona 5 #1, Jo’s desperate act pushes Akira and Ryugi to confront Kamoshida’s twisted fantasy realm once more, now with Morgana at their side. As the line between reality and illusion blurs, Ryugi unlocks a new Persona, revealing a power long buried beneath the surface.
