Pep #244
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePop's Chock'lit Shoppe is the place to be in this August 1970 issue of Pep, where Archie makes it very clear to a big, good-natured Moose — working the counter in his soda-jerk apron — that he ordered a shake, not a soda. The two-panel cover gag plays out with Betty and Jughead looking on, Jughead happily working through a burger while the mix-up gets cheerfully sorted with a "Anytime, pal!" The whole gang appears across the cover's header too, making this a cozy snapshot of Riverdale's finest in their natural habitat.
