From the pages of Spain's beloved El Jueves comes this Seguridasosiá collection by Maikel, titled Saque la Lengua — and the cover sets the tone perfectly. A wide-eyed, bulbous-nosed caricature figure peers out from inside a gaping mouth, tongue extended and wooden depressor in hand, framed by rows of cartoon teeth in a wonderfully absurd visual gag. It's the kind of playfully irreverent humor that made El Jueves a staple of Spanish comic culture, collected here as entry #114 in the beloved Pendones del Humor series.
