Peanuts #15

Snoopy has apparently missed his calling as a muralist — the cover of this KaBOOM! issue finds the grinning beagle paintbrush in hand, surrounded by paint buckets and brushes, standing before a breathtaking, intricately detailed dragon he's brought to life in a riot of orange, pink, purple, and gold. The contrast between the small, cheerful dog and the massive, jewel-toned creature filling the wall behind him is genuinely delightful. It's a vibrant, joyful image that makes this issue of Charles M. Schulz's beloved Peanuts impossible to pass by on the shelf.
