This issue contains multiple Western stories featuring frontier lawmen and outlaws. "The Trouble at Coyote Canyon" follows Marshal Wyatt Earp as he takes over the formerly peaceful town of Coyote Canyon, which has become a haven for desperados, and confronts gunfighters terrorizing the settlement. "Pawnee Bill and the Murderous Apaches" depicts Pawnee Bill defending against a band of Apaches while protecting a woman named Susannah, with assistance from a cavalry patrol from Fort Hanley. A third story involving Bat Masterson depicts him investigating gold shipment holdups and confronting bandits at the Roaring Gulch Bar, where a stranger causes trouble in town.
