“No Joking Allowed”

In "No Joking Allowed," Mighty Mouse faces his most absurdly oversized threat yet when Oil Can Harry summons a horde of warlike Indians—complete with tanks, airplanes, and a land-carrying battleship—by signaling from the Empire State Building. With a shrinking machine ready to reduce the hero to the size of a pork chop, Harry’s plan pushes the limits of cartoon logic in this 1951 St. John classic, illustrated with wild energy by Jim Tyer.

Oil Can Harry recruits an incredible number of warlike Indians to subdue Mighty Mouse. To do so, he travels from his western mountain lair all the way to New York City to send smoke signals from the top of the Empire State Building. When the warriors show up in New York, Harry leads them all the way back west for the battle. The braves bring tanks, cannon, airplanes, and even carry a full-size battleship across land for the attack. Just in case that's not enough, Harry's back-up plan involves a shrinking machine that reduces Mighty Mouse to such a size that he can be tied to a pork chop.
